QUT Football Club is preparing for its biggest season yet in 2026, and we’re inviting passionate students, alumni, and football people to be part of the club off the pitch.

As we continue to grow our men’s and women’s programs, compete strongly in FQPL and Metro competitions, and strengthen our connection with QUT, we are opening applications for Executive (Director) roles, Officer roles, and Coaching & Performance roles.

Whether your skills are in leadership, marketing, events, football operations, or performance, there’s a place for you at QUT FC. Executive Committee and Director Roles

Our Executive Committee provides strategic leadership and direction for the club. These roles are ideal for people looking to gain experience in governance, leadership, and decision-making within a competitive sporting environment.

Roles Available

Vice President: Supports the President, assists with club operations and strategy, and steps in when required. Plays a key role in internal leadership and culture.

Secretary: Manages governance, meeting minutes, compliance, and official documentation. A critical role in keeping the club organised and accountable.

Treasurer: Oversees club finances, budgeting, and reporting. Works closely with the Executive Committee to ensure financial sustainability.

Marketing Director: Leads the club’s marketing, branding, and communications strategy across social media, website, and campaigns.

Events Director: Plans and delivers club events including trials, social events, presentations, and engagement activities.

Corporate Relations Director: Manages sponsorships, partnerships, and relationships with external organisations and supporters.

Officer Roles (Volunteer Positions)

Officer roles are volunteer positions that support the day-to-day operations of the club. These roles are perfect for students wanting hands-on experience, resume development, and involvement in a competitive football club environment.

Roles Available

Marketing Officer: Assists with content creation, social media posts, graphics, and matchday communications.

IT Officer: Supports the club website, digital platforms, forms, and online systems.

Events Officer: Helps plan and deliver club events, matchdays, and social activities.

Corporate Relations Officer: Supports sponsorship activation, partner communications, and relationship management.

Publications Officer: Assists with written content including blogs, announcements, newsletters, and match reports.

Finance Officer: Supports the Treasurer with basic financial tracking, admin, and reporting tasks.

Coaching and Performance Roles (2026)
